Yup, an Oak Hill playet lost his cool mid 3rd after fouling out.

He tried acting like it wasnt him that fouled the gc player, a couple of gc fans pointed at the player to help the refs (so to speak) then once the kid went to the bench he noticed a couple if gc fans pointing at him still and snapped, the ball was in play and the kid was tryingvto go across the court but was being held back by 2 teammate who pushed him near the hallway he then got loose and tried to make his way to the gc side but was tackled by a lady cop. Haha. Pretty dumb move by the kid and who knows what he was thinking with no fans for them and the rest for gc, if he would made it to the home side the kid might of got his ass whipped for him. And also in the jv game oak hill had 3 technicals on them. Crazy night to say the least

The guy is a dumbass, but it's the GC crowd, by far the biggest collection of annoying, redneck douches you'll find in SWVA.

I don't think it was GC that had a near riot at a BB game last year. Think that one was over in Wise Co. And if you want to see a douche, well, do you have a mirror?

Gate City has a bad crowd at times I'll agree. What gets me is that a few of the coaches from other sports are there and act like mindless idiots. Ive seen this happen several times, and it's embarrassing. Then you have the principal coaching from the bleachers. Ervin needs to let Vermillion do his job.

As for redneck fans that get rowdy, I think that might go to TS. Come down Wednesday Raider and see them take on your Raiders. They're a tough, loud, redneck crowd.

That wasn't the fans genius, it was dumbass transfer players and a players dad. And it's not all GC fans by any means, but it's more than the regular few like most places, it's a whole section with even more scattered around. They were like that when I played and they were like that when I was several GC games last year.

And I don't remember TS being that bad, but that was several years ago and only Bball games, but I've heard stories...but I heard it was 95% Duckmeat getting rowdy more than the rest of the crowd.

I did see where every TS fan was majorly pissed at RC fans the other night with them chanting USA USA USA at the foreign exchange student...but I've seen several sets of fans do that, the kids doing it are bad enough, but half of the damn adults joining in was pitiful.
